Biographical Note
Born 4 Nov 1985 in Krakow. In 2005 she graduated from National School of Fine Arts in Cracow, and began studying painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Krakow. Until 2008 she studied under prof. Grzegorz Bednarski. She graduated with honors in 2010 under prof. Leszek Misiak. Katarzyna Karpowicz’s works can be found in many collections in Poland and abroad, as well as in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Gdansk. In 2019 she was awarded with Anna Maria Siemieńska Grazella Foundation’s artistic scholarship for excellent young artists.
